Railway minister Lalu Prasad loves to do things in style, whether it is talking about the movies or his latest passion — blogging.
In a bid to reach out to the tech-savvy Gen-X, Lalu has decided to adopt its medium — the internet and with it, he joins the league of celebrities like Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, who have been making headlines and grabbing eyeballs with their blogs.
Blogger Lalu says he decided to go online, when a friend of his suggested that it was a good way to connect instantly with the masses and put forth his point of view. "A TV channel-owner friend of mine persuaded me to start my blog, as it would help me get people's feedback on issues and the functioning of the railways," Lalu said, when asked about his blog.
